We’ll wander through the charming Old Town, framed by ancient city walls, explore the unreal Bory Castle with its romantic gardens, towers, and secret corners, see the Old Clockworks with its historic figures and music, and finish at the beautifully renovated Árpád Thermal Bath, including its spectacular Turkish bath.

Your adventure:

Meet at Kelenföld Vasútállomás, in front of Fornetti, at 8:45 AM, and travel together to Székesfehérvár (approx. 40 min).

We’ll start at Bory Castle (travelling by bus from the station), a whimsical monument of love and art built by architect Jenő Bory. Walk through its seven towers, romantic gardens, and hidden corners — a true fairy-tale experience.

Afterward, we will have lunch break at one of the cozy local restaurants, giving you time to recharge and enjoy the city’s vibe.

Next, we’ll explore the Old Town streets, dotted with flowers, fountains, benches, and hidden inner courtyards. Along the way, we’ll stop at the Old Clockworks, where historic Hungarian figures appear every two hours, accompanied by music and the gentle chimes of church bells.

We’ll wrap up at the Árpád Thermal Bath, a gorgeous Art Nouveau spa. Relax in the pools, recharge in the saunas, and enjoy the Turkish bath — the perfect finale to a day of exploration.

Return to Budapest by train in the evening, carrying memories, flavors, and stories from a day discovering Székesfehérvár’s historic treasures and hidden gems.
